I have a 2019 F250 6.7 Turbo Boost, I am experiencing at times hesitation when pulling out after setting in traffic or a traffic light.
it is like the engine has no power or is bogged down.
Any thoughts?
There's a thread out there with a lot of complaints about hesitation. I don't recall if it's limited to the 6.7L or if it's also the gas engines. It's mostly 2020 and 2021 vehicles, so there's speculation that the 10 speed transmission is the culprit. Since the OP of this thread has a 2019 6.7, the 10 speed transmission isn't the issue. It could be turbo lag, but without being there, it's hard to say.
We have Ford Explorers at work and it's pretty pronounced when you go to step on it. Not saying it's all vehicles, gas and diesels, but maybe it's a thing with these modern vehicles with computer controlled throttle pedals.
My #1 gripe with Ford's programming, close second is how the damn truck cuts power the split second I need more and am about to get stuck in mud or snow, even with TC off. Way to go Ford engineers! You are #1.
My problem has been with the V10 and the 6.2, definitely not just a diesel issue.
