My friend used to have a Focus RS that had some lame feature where the engine would play through the stereo. Does the 2021 F150 have that foolishness? Is there an easy way to turn it off, if so?
Most newer vehicles that do not have a V8 under the hood from “every” brand will have some kind of augmented engine sound piped into the vehicle electronically or mechanically.
I’m not sure of the new SYNC 4 system but if it’s the same as SYNC 3, this feature can be disabled with something like FORScan and some car audio shops can disable it.
On the last generation trucks, it was only on Lariat or high trim levels I think. Haven't seen confirmation on the 2021+ trucks yet. BMW and Audi both do this as well it's getting really common.
