Hello everyone. I know the usual way to remove an injector in a 7.3 is to basically use a pry bar and pry it out. However, a while back, I saw a video of a guy removing the injector using a wrench. I think it was a 5/16 wrench, but I'm not sure. Has anyone else used this method or seen this video? If so, can you point me to the link? I'd like to revisit this one more time as it made removing the injector much easier.
Pretty sure Diesel Tech Ron used a stubby wrench that fits the body of the injector. I think it was 7/8.
Edit: Found the video. It was a 5/8 wrench and he was using to help install the injector on the pax side, not remove it. Earlier in the video he used a pry bar to remove the injector.
Wrench used at about minute 12 in the video. Some other good tips in this one too.
That's it!! I couldn't remember all of the details about it. I just remember thinking that it was a pretty handy tip. Thanks for clearing that up for me!! I really appreciate it!!

No problem at all. I like watching his vids. Good refreshers for those of us who don't wrench on them frequently.
