Aftermarket heads?
So I was looking to purchase a 2005 f350 DRW.
I took the truck to a reputable diesel mechanic in town to look it over who does only diesel work with a focus on Ford’s.
The mechanic said one of the heads is a “cheap aftermarket head” and has a few other Chinese parts on it. Truck was as clean as advertised. Can you really tell if it’s an aftermarket head just by looking in the hood?
should I run?
