hubcaps..?

hubcaps..?
ok i have a 82 f100 with the smaller lug pattern, i found a set of the hubcaps that most of the 80's f150's have but im not sure if the hubcap fits the lug pattern or fits to the rim....little hard to explain.. =) hopefully someone can answer this before i buy them and they dont fit.....

Are you speaking of the aluminum "dog dish" style hubcaps or the type with the metal clips that cover the whole wheel? Last I knew the only difference with the aluminum caps were if they went on a 15 or a 16.5 inch wheel. In that case as long as they came off another half ton F100 or F150 they should fit. If its the other style, just take a tape measure along and measure then to make sure they will fit your 15 inch wheels.
