Hi everyone, so this is my first post and my question is what is the differences between the radiator supports that are with and without extra cooling package? I have a 72 Ranger SB that I'm restoring and the radiator support needs to be replaced, Truck has a 390 with auto and does have what appears to be a factory installed transmission cooler.
Thanks in advance
I measured the radiator openings on my 70 f250, 72 f250 4x4, and 70 f350. They all have a 27 1/2"W and 18"H opening. The f350 and 4x4 had super cooling radiators, there core supports are in my garage. The differences that I can see since the f250 support is in my truck is the way the radiator attaches. The f250 radiator bolts straight to the core support and radiator is about 3" thick or so.
The super cooling support two fins that are on each side of the radiator and are 4" at the top that the radiator mounts to.
So whichever core support you have is the radiator you would use but you could probably adapt anything. Is your truck a f100? Got a picture of your factory tranny cooler?
