73 f250 camp special radiator

I have recently aquired a 73 f250 camper special, motor already out, no radiator. My question is the radiator, I have seen post for super cool radiator in the c/s. what is an easy way to determine if the radiator is a rear flange mount or front flange mount? New to Fords,
thanks in advance for answers, tips and sources for locating/identifing radiator application

Flanges on the side with the water necks it's rear flange on the front opposite of the water necks it's a front flange. I believe the super cool in the camper special has a big top cap it's about 4" thick and if you look inside the filler cap it's a 3 core.

I bought a 4 row Super Cooler from Performance Radiator a few years back. At that time you couldn't beat their prices.

There are two different radiator supports.

The radiator support used with a Super Cooling (S/C) radiator has a larger opening radius than the radiator support used with the Standard, Xtra Cooling and A/C radiators.

D3TZ-16138-B .. Radiator Support / 28 1/2" between radiator mounting holes.

D3TZ-16138-D .. Radiator Support / Two sets of mounting holes (1) 23" between centers (2) 25 1/2" between centers.

D3TZ-8005-G .. S/C Radiator / 24 11/16" high / 26 1/4" wide / 2 5/8" core thickness / 1973/76 F100/350 360/390/460.

The S/C radiator has a HUGE top tank, overlaps the core and is much wider and deeper than the other radiator top tanks.

The other radiators are 19 1/4" high, the width is the same as the S/C. The thickness of the core depends on if it's a Standard, Xtra Cooling or A/C radiator
