had issues which now lead me to replace the belt....tremendous pita and i dont even know where to start as the friggin belt in this 20 degree weather it friggin ridiculous out of the box......i currently have it submerged in hot water in bathtub and real quick see it losing its packaged memory....maybe this helps someone down the road.its pretty unorthodox so i dont know if its online anywhere....
worked phenomenally. finished within a half hr after id dumped 2 hrs into and was pissed the whole time....Also in order to do the no fan or shroud belt install i highly recommend 1) draping the belt first over the water pump 2) pushing the left hand side of the water pump low enough so u can get beneath and grab the belt and 3) under hooking the crank case wheel(whatever its called the big circle) then taking som slack from left side of (big wheel) and puhing between itself and tensioner (silver pulley) which you ll come back to later from top side.4) go topside, and grab belt from right side of water pump and using slack fish it down and around the lower right pulley then straight up along outside of the pulley directly above 5) run belt left and go under the lower pulley to right of alternator 6) dont attach to alternator yet; instead tak left side slack and reach with thew slacked belt down and toward crank case pulley(big wheel again), u will essentially create an upside down u and you will do what it takes to get that u behind the tensioner pulley in front of the block, when done correctly the left side of that pulley's belt 7) will go down and wrap the ac pulley going up to 8) idler pulley and lastly 9)go over the alternator pulley.....then u can yank the belt releasing the kick stand thing.....also i had a pain because i couldnt release the tensioner until belt was back on so i struggled getting between its pulley and crank when i had to form that upside down u to get behind and encompass it..
Sorry about these chick directions but fig share what worked for me. this way worked for me more so than all the stuff i came up with online. I could def do this again in no time now. The routing order of the belt i had to figure out on the fly and it cost me....but again the friggin memory of the belt from the package in these cold temps was ludicrous. soaking in hot water made all the difference..../
cant apologize enough for the directions.... cant figure out how to edit the post title but it definetly is a trick that works no possible about it
If I never replace another serpentine belt, it'll be OK. You think it's a PITA on your Fseries, try it on an Eseries with the 2 alternator and 2 AC compressor set up. And then, change it 4 times before you find a belt that fits because that 2x2 setup isn't stock.

lol yup i think you got my situation put to shame...by think i mean i know...thanks for writing that though because watch enough videos and everything looks too friggin easy mayhap enjoyable....
You're welcome. Did I mention that my buses have two belts? LOL. I have several trucks and have done these belts several times, and it's still beyond me to tell anyone how to do it, much less which is the right way. The common denominator seems to be that each time, right after I give up, grab a big hammer, rear back to swing, and then have a sense of calmness descend over me, that the belt finally goes on the next time I try. That should be one of the steps in your description, but I don't know which one.
