mirrors on Explorer Fold Back ????????

mirrors on Explorer Fold Back ????????
Will the Mirrors on a 1994 Explorer Fold Back? They are power mirrors,,,,,I did try to move them but do not want to put much pressure on them The reason is my wife is a rural mail delivery person and these need to be moved to get closer to the mail box......Thank You

Yes the mirrors on the Explo fold in. There is a vertical line the runs between the vertical edge of the mirror and the window and also a horizontal line that runs just underneath the mirror. These are the breakaway axises. If you apply a firm constant pressure, they will fold in. The process gets easier each time they are folded. It is anxiety provoking the first time you do it though.
