Question abs brakes

If I put disc brake kit rear axle of my 1993 f150 will the anti lock still work?

Yes. The RABS tone ring and speed sensor are in the differential.

In theory it should. How well it works is another story, but should be fine. Many folks that I see converted to rear disk brakes eliminate the RABS system then install an aftermarket adjustable proportioning valve.

The abs system wouldn’t know that you changed the brakes from drum to disk. I believe you would still have to do something about the residual valve on the master cylinder which is set up for disk/ drum brakes.

That's why I stated in theory you should be fine.

X2... No need for the residual valve when using rear discs.

They do not have one. That's the point.
