Injector wiring help!

Hey guys,
so im part way into my diy ecu build and im currently looking into how to wire the injectors. After looking at a haynes shop manual pdf i have and looking at some wiring diagrams i found our trucks run on 2 bank systems. so my issue is on the haynes it says one bank is 1 4 5 8 and the other 2 3 6 7 THEN while looking on this forum and on megasquirt it says one bank is 2 3 5 8 and the other 1 6 7 4. Which is correct?? my other question is my diy ecu has more injector outputs so i can tie them into pairs. so should i put them in pairs? and which ones in what order if so? or is just running 2 banks normal and okay. i don't think running them in pairs would have any benefits or power gains. right?
thanks in advance

Every Ford EVTM I have shows the Speed Density injectors are fired 1,4,5,8 then 2,3,6,7

I see no reason to try firing them in pairs. I do believe there was s single model year there was sequential Speed Density used on the Mustang. Again, no reason to go there IMHO.
