56 cab over
Ok so I need some help. I am redoing my 56 cab over dump truck. It's a c750 with the lincoln y block 302 in it. I am rebuilding the heads and need the rocker shafts as one of mine broke. Parts are exceptionally hard to find so any assistance would be appreciated.

I don't know much about Lincoln Yblocks but others who do will be along shortly. There are several guys here that have C-series trucks also.
You can try Chuck Mantigula at Chuck's Trucks. He has a lot of big truck stuff.
In the mean time, show us pictures of your truck!

That is a rare bird...1956-63 production in the big trucks. I have had rocker shafts machined to spec for me in the past, you may have better luck having a shop machine a pair for you instead of trying to locate some for sale.

Ford obviously must have put chrome bumpers on their trucks back then unless that one was chromed at a later time..

I re-read your post and it looks like you need the shaft not the rocker itself. Here's a complete set. Lincoln 317, 341, 368 are all common to the 302 and 332 truck engines. The big difference is in the lifters and cam drive.

I actually have no idea where they got that bumper from, it doesn't fit perfect but it's close enough for me.

It look a lot like a bigger truck Ford bumper but it is a little narrow, isn't it.
