ok, so it is time to replace the rack. there is play on the input shaft. ford wants 2600. so I am going to do this. first thing is ordering the part,
MAx tow option? If i have read right the max tow is not an option on a 2011 5.0L.
is that correct?
Then i will have to learn how to used forscan, or get one that has a programming obd with it. Why do they recommend that you program it after the alignment?

thanks, i am still a little confused. i will ask ford. i have the 5.0, and the smaller mirrors on a 4x4 supercrew lariat. so if the 5.0 does not come with tow max, then i should be good i asked the service advisor, and he was clueless. i will ask the parts guy?
