I have the BAK made Ford cover on my 21 F250. Rubber "hinge" failed after 2 years. Realtruck/BAK tells me I have to go through Ford dealer for warranty. Not going to do that for other reasons. Had a Pace Edwards for 18yrs on my 2001 before it failed, then a folder, forget the brand but it had full length piano hinges and it was going still going strong when I sold the truck. Don't waste your money on BAK, (or the OE unless ford has switched supplier) I have a Diamondback Switchback on order, will post pics of failed BAK and new Switchback when it comes in next month. Right now Black Gorilla tape is holding up pretty good, maybe BAK should include a roll with every cover they sell.
My dad had one on his truck and it filled with water and the panels weighed 100lbs it felt like. Wasnt fun anytime he had to flip it back.
