I went into the local Ford dealership in Town today because my check coolant additive light came on last week. The manager told me the truck needed coolant changed every 5 yr or 75K miles. I told them another time, I do not have the three hours they need to do it.
once I got home I looked thru my owners manual and it says 6yr/105K miles.
you would think that if anyone knew the maint schedule for so common a truck, it would be the maint manager.

im going to look for the test strips on line and check it myself.

 

It says check it not replace. I got the same message a couple of weeks ago. Yes, get the strips and check it yourself. Mine was fine so I put the message out.

 

Did you buy the kit from accustrip, or elsewhere?

 

I bought mine from the local Advance Auto store..

 

Get the items needed to test from AccuStrip.....they are the suppliers for Ford/Rotunda.

There are two different test needed for the Orange (Dexoll) coolant.
