Recently I had to change a starter. I read on this forum and different ones about how hard it was to reach. I had success with mine and wanted to share what I did to save the next guy from having anxiety from reading all the different posts about it. I had the old starter out and the new one in under an hour. I used a 12mm socket with a swivel and a 6in. Extension. All were 3/8 drive 12mm socket with a swivel and 6in extension This the bottom bolt which should be the last bolt removed This is the upper left bolt which i removed second This is the top bolt everybody has fits with. If you look through the bootom fender well and above the frame you can see just an wdge of it to help locate it. I removed this bolt first Another view of the top bolt location
