I have a 2013 F150 XL basic pickup truck it has 44,000 miles, the other day after it had been sitting for a couple weeks, I went to drive it and no wipers nothing no washer no clicking noise no wiper motor noises zero nothing..
I've checked all the fuse/relays . I swapped out a good relay and put it in place of the wiper relay under the hood. I've changed the wiper motor, I changed the multi function switch in the steering colum. I've unplugged and plugged back in the wiring harness from firewall. I cleaned the ground I could find and reinstalled them. Still nothing no wipers??? Any ideas? I'm at my witts end
When you say multifunction switch are you talking about the lever, for lack of a better word, that controls the wiper and washer? Mine quit working and that is what I needed. However they are model specific and the is several different versions of the same switch so it may be necessary to have the correct switch. Hopefully this is of some help.

yes sir the turn signal switch that controls wipers/washer/turn signal I got for 2013 . Still no luck
Ok. I should have been more specific but you would probably actually need your VIN to get the correct switch. I believe there is 3 or 4 switches for a 2013 depending on model. I will say when mine went bad on my 2013 the wipers would run with the switch off. Other than making sure it is correct for your model I would not have any other ideas but I do know there is several switches for a 13 that would fit but may not work

Hi
Thanks I did order a new switch for my 2013 f150 6 cylinder xl pickup. I made sure it was for my make model and year.
Mine didn't give me any problems what so ever, I just went to drive it after sitting a couple weeks and now I have nothing.... mine doesn't come at all .

Ok. Well unfortunately I am unable to help. You may need to get a meter and start checking for power at the switch and relays to make sure it’s not a bad wire. Sorry I could not help. Good luck

TY. At this point I'm about ready to just trade it in let the dealer handle it.
I've had this truck less than 3 years it had about 41,000 miles when I bought it and so far the AC quit, the drivers door power window died , the wipers quit, the battery died, the brakes are squealing, and the transmission seems like it won't engage kind slips unless the truck is hot or the weather is in the 90s fluid is fine clean and full and I've only put about 4 thousand miles on it in 3 years, now it has 44,000 not a big fan of this truck. I've fixed it all but the wipers and transmission plus I think it's got 2 or more recalls need fixed...
There was a download of the service manual on this site for awhile which had the troubleshoot procedure for the wiper system. Don't know if it's still available. You'll have to search.
Unfortunately the section 501-16 for the wiper system is about 50 pgs long. But it sure looks detailed including how to bypass controls and the SCCM for testing. I wish I could remember where I downloaded the manual from. It took forever even as a zipped file. Unzipped it's over 7600 pgs! If anyone knows how I can "download" just that section for the OP I'm all ears. It's a pdf file.
Based on the description of the OP's work done, I think I'd be leaning toward a faulty input or output to/from the SCCM for now.

You got that right. That's why I suggested the manual download. Just too much info to try and post. I did notice though simple troubleshooting is done with multi-meter first before using Fords scan tool for communication.
