6.0 buzz test fail.
I've been trying to narrow down a bucking/surging issue when truck is cold. Only mid 20s at night. When it hits 6th gear in the morning it will buck like a misfire at approx 1500 rpm . no codes. Can.make it stop by flipping on the tow/haul to change rpm. Can barely feel any stutter once it warms up but you know its there. Running torque pro. I showed no misfires. Downloaded Car gauge pro and attempted to do a buzz test and it only buzzed once and the app said unknown code detected please wait......I'm still waiting. Anyone have buzz test problems with car gauge pro?
Earlier did another torque pro test. See attachment. It shows many cyl 8 misfires. But the line above it shows none on cyl8.
I've been all over from thinking egr valve to vgt solenoid. Have monitored vgt sol and seems consistent. But then I think worn actuator ring in turbo. But would/can a sticky turbo or vgt solenoid get better as truck warms.
I lied earlier. There is a egr flow excessive detected code that has been there 4 years.p0402
