Cutting conners Do or Do Not
Is there any downside to mounting a light this way. Cutting the grill while it’s attached just curious on some thoughts Thanks.

it looked like the cut all of the bottom retainer snap in clips off when they put in the upper bar. Not sure how much that would cause the grill to shake around and make a bunch of noise.

Did you remove the grill or install with grill on?

I removed my grille to cut it. I see no reason why you couldn't do it on the truck like they did in the video though.

I used an oscillating tool, didn’t remove the grill. Still super solid.

Wonder if this is possible doing the same with a 2021 Platinum grill?

I'd thought about settling for that too, but I think I'd prefer more light output.

the 40inch curved bar from rough country works great. It’s like switching on a small star on the front of the truck. Turning it off makes even the regular high beams seem like parking lights!
Totally worth the “hacking”
