This is a 2012 f250 6.7 fx4 lariat. I had some problems a couple nights ago, the truck went to zero boost while towing, even though I could hear the turbo, and someone mentioned refueling. So I checked what i could and found i can hear a gurgling sound at the frame mounted pump. Before doing anything I drove it and boost was back, weird. But after two complete filter changes I still have a gurgling sound at the pump, like air in the lines. Zero chance it's the filter install. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.
That could be air in the DFCM. Did you do enough key on engine off cycles to purge the system of air? What you describe is what I hear when I do a filter set change. I go overkill and do 12 KOEOff cycles to rid the fuel system of air. Someone with more knowledge will chime in later I'm sure.
I am wondering if the cup was screwed on til the stops meet. There is a stop on the module and a stop on the cup. The cup should be screwed on til both meet.
Also, did you make sure the o-ring on the yellow plug was in place and lubricated when you screwed it back in.
