Turbo Sound
My question is this, when under load ( going up a hill, small #tow or WOT) my turbo makes that woosh sound when shifting into a taller gear. I noticed this when I put on my #6637 Air Filter. I can hear new things now and looking up the "woosh" sound on search option was funny thought but I thought I would ask first. My truck is stock minus the air filter and straight pipe. Thank in advance, I am a student in training with this stuff.

Does a boost fooler help on a stock set up? I know the boost does not go that high with the stock PCM programming but was wondering if there were any benefits to install this before the chip.

Don,
I too noticed the "Whoosh" sound after I installed the 6637 Air Filter Mod. I could not hear the sound with my stock airbox. only after the mod. No apparent problem that I have noticed.
