clean up the backside an use por 15 an then cavity wax as well,,cant tell were pin holes are or access but anytime you can drill out to get to stronger metal and when welding use a piece of copper on backside to weld to an fill hole , as weld will not stick to copper but gives you a backing to make a weld then the copper comes right off , of course only if you can access will this work ,, door jambs are hard to access ,,por 15 makes an epoxy that I have used in hard to reach small areas an used to fill pin holes but clean an prep everything ,,other wise cutting out an using new sheet metal
