How Much Horsepower
I recently puchased a 93 F350 4WD,460. 62,000 miles I noticed it had headers, Flowmaster 40 series 3inch exhaust (someone said) and KN air filter and maybe a couple misc aftermarket things. Anyway I was wondering if anybody had any info on how much extra HP I might be getting over stock. Seems to pull the horse trailer real well and is blast to drive empty.

The 1993 EFI460 was rated at 230(net) horsepower@3,600rpm and 390 lb./ft. of torque@2,200rpm. With headers, aftermarket exhaust, and a K&N filter I would guess your current horsepower level to be around 265-275. The only true way of knowing is to take it to a shop with a dynometer.Usually it costs about $100, but some places may dyno it for less.

I dyno'd my FI 460, and I got 185 hp and 270 tq at the rear wheels, that's through a C6/NP205/Ford 9"
so that should give you some numbers to work off of, and this is a stock engine execpt for true dual exhaust, and a worked over airbox, oh and bumped timing
