The Ranger O/D is currently not available and is why they are not on our website. We machine the parts in house and due to high demand across all our product lines we are unable to keep up with demand. Once we are able to catch up we will look at bringing the unit back into production.

OK, well all has changed. One of the guys from AA emailed me and had ONE splitter left on the shelf he would sell me so I bought it. (He also said he had One chevy left as well), if you lean that way. But I lost my 300. I opened it up and it will need the crank turned and a bore, and my machinist is about 4 months behind on work, so for the time being I am going to plan on dropping the 390 I have in, unless he gets slack before I need it. We will see. I still want to do the 300 so it will end up in there either way. the 390 however is a drop in since it came off that chassis when I was driving it, so it wont slow me down any on the build.

AA claimed it would ship on the 8th, but I haven't heard anything yet, and I have an invoice that said it preauthorized my CC, but I don't have one that says they charged me so I'm assuming it hasn't shipped. They did tell me they were behind on everything at there factory, so I'll give them a little time. I'm still not in a panic for it, I did the alterations to the trans mount and transfer case mount , I think yesterday.
What is that you welded up and bolted to the radius arm brackets?
All you need to do is move the factory cross member back 7.5" IIRC
I waited till I had everything bolted up together so the cross member fell in the right place before drilling holes.
They did not charge my card till they shipped it IIRC
I also did not pull my truck apart till I had the OD unit in hand as the truck is used to take the weekly trash to the dump, need a sticker.
Think it was only down 1 weekend as I had the drive shaft made.

my 89 came with c6 and 2.73's. I use it as a cheap dd because i occasionally need to haul and i need my tools.
Ive now had two of these. Hauling is about all this combo can handle, or pulling an empty trailer. The rpms are great for 65-75 mph highway speeds but the c6 kills the power. I average about 16 mpg mixed city/ highway sometimes in the 15's if speeds are higher and my foot is heavier, if i slow down i can get into the 17's. tires are little wider but same height as stock 29". I would rather have an AOD and 3.50's but its hard to beat the cheap stupid reliability of the c6, so i deal with the 2500 rpm @ 75 mph
