I wonder if your truck had a manual in it or something, because when I swapped the 460 into my truck, I didn't touch the transmission, just had to use an adapter plate to mount the 400 engine mounts to the 460 block.. hindsight, I could have just made them myself, but i was just out of high school when i did it lol..

We shall see how far off the zf5 is compared to the c6, knowing my luck, I'll have to modify a bunch lol..
