92' F150 5.0 has a 15426378 (same as 460 EFI) firing order, the A9L is a 13726548 firing order... you need too change the cam! rewiring will not work, the R/ L O2 sensors need to be aligned with the correct bank of injectors. OR, you can cheat and wire the 2 inputs on the MA computer to the One O2 sensor on the truck...[I have not verified this action] Also the A9L/A9P have no computer controls for the E4OD! it will not work ALONE!!!

If the 94 mustang computer is an automatic computer, it will control the transmission. I thought this issue was resolved two years ago.

just slapped it up there for future reference...The '94/'95 will control a AODE/4R70W/4R75W, it is missing 1 thing for the E40D/4R100...[Coast Clutch]
I've gone down that Ave. in my quest for the Mass Air conversion.

Ford put EEC-V computers in '94-up mustangs. That's gotta be your problem, as the pins are probably very different from your original EEC-lV MAP/ E4OD setup. You may be able to find a discontinued Lightning MAF conversion computer on eBay or something. That would work with the 5.8/5.0 HO firing order, give you SFI, and control the E4OD. If not, I'd get an 89-93 computer from a 5.0 mustang that had a T-5 tranny, and then purchase an independent transmission controller for the E4OD.

As well go over all your connections while you have it apart, never know if the ford guy screwed up a solder connection or broke a contact.

EECv did not appear in the stang till 1996! '94& '95 were all EECiv w/ETC for the AODE; the Crown Vics /Grand Marquis started EECv in '95 as well as some of the the I-6 Ford trucks .

No. Ford began using EEC-V v1.0 in 1994 in the Mustang. The federal laws requiring a universal diagnostic system went into effect in 1994, but didn't require that all vehicles have this system until the 1996 model year. Ford started with the mustang in 1994, and maybe some other california vehicles or something throughout 94 and 95, but the entire vehicle line didn't go to EEC-V until 1996. Check out this EEC history.

The V6 mustangs had EEC-V in 94, but the 5.0's still used EEC-IV computers.
