Dana 44 Assembly Part Question

I got my front axles pulled and the knuckles removed to replace a worn ball joint on my 79 F150 4x4. I am going to replace the axle u joints while I have it apart along with seals and repack bearings. I took a look at a manual I have and it shows a few parts that I didnt have taking it apart. It shows a spring and a retainer between the outer wheel bearing and the two hub lock nuts. It also shows a retainer between the inner wheel bearing and the spindle which is maybe the seal?
attached is a picture with arrows pointing to the parts. Any guidance or help is appreciated.

The retainer is the seal.

The other parts your asked about are for the Spicer locking hub, they don't go between the nuts they go over them. if you have the Warn style hubs these parts won't be there.

Retainer #1175 is the metal/rubber "tapped in to install" seal that goes in after the inner bearing is installed on the back side of the hub.

X2 on depending on which hubs (external or internal) you have, you could NOT have that retainer and spring. You can have a "inner locking hub assembly" that is a one piece lock in out. It is in the last pic.

I agree with all stated above. We installed some mile marker hubs and did not need the spring and retainer. I think I still have them. If you need them, let me know.

thank you guys! I have the Warn locking hubs so it appears the assembly is correct. Appreciate all your help! Now to install the ball joints finally and get it back together.

thank you the helpful pictures! I got the spindle needle bearings pulled and forgot to measure how deep they were seates before pulling them. Looks like the stub shaft has a pretty good area for the bearing to ride so just need to make sure it rides on that surface and I can install the needle bearing bore seal? Lastly, do you know if the spindle bearing bore seal is installed with the lip to the bearing or away from the bearing?
