I wonder why we don't see them truck tranys in drag racing if they shift so fast 
I also drive 10 & 13 sp trucks.
Paddle shifting I would think uses a clutch the works with the trans when shifting if it is a stick trans.
Wife's Subaru is a auto, CVT, so done inside by computer I would guess as I have not looked that deep into it.
I would think most autos with them are done with the computer as that is what works autos now.
