Relay Needed for Heated Mirrors?
Added a power tow mirrors with blinkers and heat to my 2003. This was about 1-2 years ago. Never hooked up heat as it really isn't needed much where I live.
Now I want to hook up heat to a push button lighted switch. The switch is rated at 10amps.
Is a relay needed between the switch and mirrors or can wires from mirrors be connected directly to switch? There is one wire from each mirror.
NOTE: My OEM tow mirrors only came with power (no heat or turn signals).....I wired in turn signals myself.
