I need to replace my aging OBD2 scanner. Looking for some advice on what you all use and like.
Features I am looking for, read hard and pending codes for engine, trans, SRS, and ABS, ABS brake bleed feature, see live data, and be able to send commands to operate solenoids, etc. I was looking at the Innova #5610 that has all of these features, but it got a lot of unfavorable reviews.
I am used to using a hand held all in one device, but not against using a blue tooth model to connect to my laptop. Didn't really want to use my phone for this. So what do you all recommend?
Well two of the best are APP based, thats Forscan Lite and Torque pro. From deep dives, graphing, mode 6 data, live streaming data and logging to service function execution. If you went PC based then Forscan is all you need.

So, forscan will do everything I am looking for? I assume it will work for any OBD2 vehicle, and not just my Super Duty?
If you have a windows laptop, Forscan with extended license, and an OBDlink EX you can do an amazing amount, including some configuration & programing, on any FORD vehicle. Forscan is only for Ford, Mazda, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. Good Luck, Russ
