well, I meant the wire that you disconnect to read the codes fie ABS. I was told by my buddy it should be a plug or something at the abs comp we couldnt find it

You mean like the old blink codes where you count the times the light flashes on and off? I'll go look in my Helminc to verify, but I don't think you can do that anymore.
well, we hooked a snap on scanner up to the truck to find out what has my abe light on. We got all the numbers and codes from the scanner but for some reason he said we need to disconnect a wire to the abs to have it flash to find out which code it threw.

Which Snap-On scanner are you using? I haven't found one yet that will pull all the codes on one of these beasts. If you want dealer-level access, but are worried about getting your warranty voided, here's a trick: go to a Mazda dealer. They use the same WDS system (scanner) as Ford, and the WDS updates from Mazda keep it updated on the Ford end, too. Most of them will happily pull codes for a couple bucks.
