inspired

Thank you for all of your rebuild pictures. You are doing amazing work and have definitely inspired me to rethink my 1977 4x4 f150 rebuild. Can you please tell me where you picked up the wiring harness?

Got the a/c compressor installed. Started running the lines also. Right inner fender installed and got the alternator and solenoid wiring done.

Great looking build. Lot of work. Just an observation, but looks like your antenna base is 180 around.

Yeah that base is pinned to the black adapter. f i turn it 180 it moved farter out. i think i am going to have to grind the pin off to get it to set level.

Started to work on my cluster. The area around the gauges had the silver paint fading out to a yellow color so I gave that some new paint. New speedometer, circuit and backing plate are on order. Got the dash pad installed along with the glove box and a/c vents on the right and center.

BTW... did you run the KilMat all the way up the inside of the firewall to quiet down the engine noise and engine heat?

I am about to start my interior... so, just asking.

Yes I did. I could not justify the $200 price of new foam/plastic like the factory one so I used the Killmat all the way up to the cowl.

Yep.... that sounds good. Thanks!!

I am like you.... That is more than enough to buy another box of KilMat.

Great work bogger. That white seems so refreshing. The contrast is fantastic.

Back to work. Cluster finished up and installed. Hood hinges installed. Battery tray installed and test battery in place to test out some wiring. Nothing let out the magic smoke! Interior lights, front exterior lights all working properly. Wiper moves and starter working. Heater controls are not working the fan on all speeds but I have plans to rebuild the controls later on. Also got the rear window in place. Now tearing apart the seat to refinish it.
