Excellent work. I think I like the blue on the transfer case the most.
By the way how the hell were you able to toss that tire up above the truck and snap a picture before it came back down. Post #27
I'll be following and stealing ideas.
That patch work above the drip rails is a pia isn't it. We had to do it on both sides for almost the entire lengths.

Magic levitation wire. LOL
The repairs above the drip rails were a pain. Perfected my spot welding skills but ran my patience short. I didn't even take pictures of the welds when done. I think I was too frustrated to take any.

Great build, Awesome job. Before you close up the front of the engine bay I would strongly suggest that you run 2 belts on the 3g alternator or you could possibly have belt squeal at start up. There are some nice 4 groove crank pulleys available petty reasonable. I myself are in about the same state of completion of a 3 year build and the 3 g swap was one of the last things I did before I went down the rabbit hole and I had the belt squeal at start up. I tried different belts to stop it and was unsuccessful. This is a great build and I am by no means picking it a part. Keep up the great work and pics. MERRY CHRISTMAS

Great job thus far on this build. I completely understand how long it takes to do a frame off build like this. My son and I have been working on his 78' F150 for going on three years now. The only thing that I would recommend is that you change out the plastic bearing on the lower end of your steering column. You can get the sealed aluminum bearing for that on Ebay for roughly $50-60. Totally worth it and will last way longer than that plastic one and be smoother also.
