So I finally installed an ISSPRO boost gauge and pillar. It works great and looks great. I’ve been seeing on my Edge monitor that I can only get about 5-7 psi max for boost. I’ve replaced my up-pipes and collector, boost leak tested my whole system (banks intercooler as well, and checked the intake plenums. I still can’t find the leak. There’s a brand new turbo on it and there’s still the same issue. Any insight would be great. I’ve been chasing this thing down for months and can’t find it.
You can do a boost leak detector but instead of pressurizing your intake aise you pressurize the exhaust side. Check on the EX manifolds and up pipe's.
Using a boost leak detector from Dieselsite. I’m pressurizing it with shop air and then spraying with soapy water. It bleeds air too fast to even really find anything. Everything just rushes out of the CCV. It won’t hold any pressure
My guess would be either you have a stuck ring, hole in a piston or the the turbo has a problem in the center section. Allowing to escape to the oil side
Maybe try turning the crank manually a bit to close a valve. Maybe their open too much and the air is escaping too quickly. What psi is the tester set at?

It’ll only pressurize to about 10psi max and drop off super quick

Brand new turbo. Symptoms were the same with the old one.
Forgot to add that there is no blowby when doing the oil cap test. Only some smoke, which is to be expected. But there is no pressure moving the oil cap at all when it’s laying on the opening
Thats a strange one. Might try sectioning things off to narrow it down. Maybe do the turbo through the intercooler and see if it holds, then do the same with tester at the Plenum Y. Thatll narrow it down quite a bit.
Does it hold psi steadily and only leak over that or once it hits 10 psi everything goes?

It builds super slowly and just drops off quickly when
i kill the air supply
