I need to replace the rubber portion of my rear AC lines due to the engine compartment fire I had a couple of months back. Are these lines solid from front to rear or is there a connection along the way? And if so, where would it be.
2 connection points, around the front fender liner, and the rear just before going the back floor pan.
Here they are, a set I pulled and had for sale, but decided to keep.
Hmm....not a bad idea to have a spare set laying around. The cost is worth the real estate.
Since I bought my X Feb 2016, I have been replacing everything that needed some sort of attention. I have been fortunate that I've been finding mostly NOS parts from my dealer, and other dealers. I've been on top of junkyard items too, but I have been watching all of the Ford NOS stuff going discontinued just in the past 1-2 years. I'd like to keep my truck a little while longer, so I hit the U pull it's when they have X's on the lot.
Brought that thing home on a spare service van from a couple hours away.
