i have a 390 that i am planning on rebuilding, Im planning on throwing in a new comp cam https://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-k33-224-3 thats the link to the cam. Im also planning on putting a four barrel Edelbrock Thunder AVS 650 cfm Carb on it with a stock 4 barrel intake if i can find one and flotech headers. My question is, is it okay if I use this new cam with the stock push rocks and rockers and stock pistons and cylinder heads, I'm kind of on a budget build here but any recomendations on parts i should throw in I will defintily take into consideration. Im hoping this truck will be my new daily driver so any parts that you guys know of that will make it more reliable would be great! Im new to engine building so any help would be awesome! Thanks guys!
FE engines like a little more duration on the exhaust side, Comp Cams K33-238-4 would be a better choice if I were building it, it'll still work with stock push rods and rockers but with .516 valve lift you need to have the valve springs that come with the kit installed.
You adjust the valve lash in the FE (with hydraulic lifters) by changing the length of the pushrod. So there's a good chance you'll need new pushrods after a cam swap and a bunch of other potential head-work. As to whether "stock type" pushrods are enough, I'd say yes, as long as you don't expect to be hitting high RPMs. If you do intend to rev it out, you're looking at better rocker shaft stands, etc as well.

There's actually rocker shaft stand shims out there nowadays for waaaaaay cheaper than buying a new set of pushrods. I agree about upgrading to some billet rocker stands with some ARP studs too.
The cam he's looking at isn't as big as a stock 428CJ cam, I wouldn't think it he'd need billet stands and studs for that, the one I suggested has duration close to 428CJ but with around .020 more lift, it would need springs but that should suffice.
