It should bolt right up. If your 302 was built before 1980 or '81, it will be of the same imbalance as the 351W, so you should be able to use the 302's flywheel/flexplate.
302s went from 28 ounce imbalance to 50 ounce in '80 or '81, but 351Ws stayed at 28 ounce until they stopped making them in '96 or whenever.

Check to see if oil pan will work on the van pan. 302 pan will not fit 351W rear main seal. I used a 70's Torino pan and pickup tube way back when, along with dipstick and timing cover. Van pan may fit but never tried it. I used 302 manifolds and added piece of tubing across the Y pipe. You had to do what you could do during the lay offs of the 80's.
