Well the supplemental heater used to be standard equipment in northern tier states, I don’t think it is any more; so make damn sure dealer checks that box if you want it.
A guy on another thread is from Montana, ordered a 2021; and his dealer made an ASSumption when ordering........oops!

I believe the supplemental and block heaters are standard on dealer stock orders (or at least used to be for cold climate states) However with a custom order, nothing is standard except what comes on each trim level. You don't check the box...not going to be built with it.

Ford removed the supplemental heater as standard in the 15 states. The block heater is still standard in the 15 states as shown in the order guide.
On the build and price, you have to check the supplemental heater box.
I'm not sure I can get non chrome running boards on the Lariat. Clear as mud on that.
How do you get the highest GVW? What changes when you get that? Right now I have the 355 gears selected. 373 better? I would think that motor has plenty of power for 355's

The 3.55's are going to be fine with your truck. I'd only go 3.73's if you are going to a tall tire or pull heavy often. In the swb you'll get 11.5k, unless you select one of the lower ones. On the lwb' I'm not sure if the 12.4k is standard or has to be selected. Just verify before ordering.
Don't automatically think that since you're in MN that the truck has a block heater. Look at the window sticker to be sure it's there. Also check the truck. Plus is located in the opening between the tow hooks and up under the passenger side of the bumper.
CHECK THE WINDOW STICKER! Most trucks are shipped with the cord tied up at the block or frame, and it is not visible. Almost every diesel Superduty I have had was shipped snd delivered with the cord tied up. That said, Ford used to build all diesels with the EBH, and you just needed to add the cord. So even if your located truck does not show the EBH, it might be there, and you only need to purchase the cord. Easy add.

The heater is no longer installed in the block unless it was ordered. My 2020 didn't get built with the block heater, and I had to buy the heater element and the cord.
Don't waste your money on the "factory" spray bedliner. Plenty of Youtube videos showing how it comes off in BIG chunks because they don't do any prep work. They just spray it. Put that money towards a good Linex liner once you get it.. Also, the factory sends it to a offsite shop for the liners and it will add several more weeks to your delivery.
