2020 Engine Harness

Bought a 2020 Expedition Max in August 2020 then was in bad accident in September. We’ve been waiting on Ford to manufacture a new engine harness since September. They keep telling us it’s on back order. Does anyone know who makes the part for Ford? Anyone else experience this kind of delay on a new part? It’s been over 3 months.

Ford manufacturers their own harnesses either in Canada or the bigger plant in Mexico.

Correct and even if they farmed that out the average consumer still couldn't purchse it directly from a sub-contractor.

With the current state of things here in the USA due this COVID BS it could be a while before they catch up on supplying replacement parts.
