Fuel filter change
Good morning all,
I am going to change out my fuel filter(s) and am wondering about the procedure. Any tips, how to’s, or what not to’s?
Also, my former 7.3L had a water drain valve on the side of the fuel bowl; does the 2017 6.7L have a similar drain valve? If so, where? TIA

Sorry for the split pages.
I keep this for reference. Helps to sort out the different clips on the under hood filter housing.

drain valve is on the lower filter.

Check out this YouTube link, it explains it pretty good, shows the different clips.

It's super simple to do.

This is how a Ford diesel tech does the fuel filter changes. Ive been doing it wrong for the past 4 years. Prime the fuel two times rather than just once.
