my 2008 f-350 5.4L truck has a shift indicator light that is always illuminated, the number "3" is always on PRND321. They are illuminated red with black letter or number. The number 3 is always dimly lit red, so lite you can only see it at night.
why would this be on? i had a friend tell me his 1994 did this and then the transmission failed, he told me be careful the transmission could be failing.
does anyone know why this light is stuck on? how to get this light to turn off?
