What year Ex do you have and what model # mirrors did you buy? I have an 03 and I just installed the power fold mirrors in October, they were “ plug and play”. Only had to run a wire for the running light the signal was already in the harnesses. Did you call 1A auto they do have adapters available if you purchased it from them?

its a 2004 XLT Im Not sure of the mirror part number i got them from AM autoparts i did not know the mirrors would be trail ridge. I thought I just need 08 super duty mirrors. They came with what I need to add the power fold. Its just the the connector for the basic functions is different.

I used model #
TRMRP00020 which are also heated, should be a direct fit for your 04 Ex I know your wire harness is wired for the turn signals just not the running lights Did you try your supplier for an adapter that fits your model? If not maybe 1A auto might sell them. Remember to look in the tech folder there is a nice write up on the installation. Good luck

Any chance anyone knows the wire match ups to direct wire the trail ridge mirrors with heat and turn signal to an ‘05 Excursion? Somebody butchered up the factory wiring harness before me……
