I don’t like the mod, but what I really don’t like is that you supposedly turn it all off and it really doesn’t. Why are there so many nanny’s in this country? All my German cars I’ve had you hold in your traction button and it’s fully off no intervention at all! This is actually pretty irritating that you can’t turn off😡
I think it's dumb to do the mod in the quest just to destroy your tires quicker. That said, I know a lot of people who get into some pretty hairy spots off road where they do not want the nanny systems interfering in any way, shape or form. For situations like that, I'm all for disabling the computers and let the driver control the truck.

Exactly the point, thank you. Its not about doing burn outs and pounding on your truck, or breaking the law, lol. Its about "if you truely need" the raw power these trucks brag about, especially while towing heavy, then here it is. I talked to a guy who actually did this mod and in his own words...."while towing heavy in the mountains and on long open roads, the truck does it so much easier". So this is a way to do away with a nanny, and for those who don't want to use the true untapped power, then leave it stock. Not sure if I'm going to do it, but I can just imagine the true 950 lb. ft. of torque when I want it. In fact, seems like alot of people are tuning and deleting their trucks for more power with tuners, CAI's, etc., but is the nanny still holding it back? I hope to learn more about it, but does raise some questions.

I haven't tried it in my 20 but all previous vehicles, traction control off, brake on, load it up, dump brake, reapply brake to sweet spot an control however you want. I thought all car/truck guys liked a good burn out. I know I do (some one else's truck), my truck, maybe a couple or so 3-5 second once a year.
City of Worcester here in Mass had the Summer Nationals burn out weekend. On Main St. July 4th weekend for years people would come to watch or participate in the stationary burn out event.
To answer your question, I didn't watch the whole video, and it's not for me, but gaining control of your vehicle, I'm all for that. The government keeps trying to idiot proof everything, and control everything. There's no more blinking lights around here, the sheep are to stupid to know what they mean, 3 in the morning the side road should maybe blink red and the main blink green or yellow, Noooo, no blinking, only red or green, so the sheep sit there with no one around, miles of visibility and wait like a good sheep does. That's what's going on. No more intersections with stop signs for rural road and more used road goes w/o traffic control, no........... 4 way stop signs on all intersections (sheep keep getting in to accidents so government tries to idiot proof). Problem with that is a sufficiently trained idiot can defeat any safety measure. Don't mind me I'm one of those guys who should live in Alaska, only it's to cold and hard.
All the power to you fellow "Maverick", I'm on your side................

I don't really care what people do to their trucks, their decision, but I find it hard to believe that doing this mod made towing in the mountains and long open roads any different.

Home the no backlash not on your thrust bearing , so you get a typewriter noise LOL

It depends on what this mod is truly doing to the computer. If it's eliminating ALL of the torque management, then it could feel different while towing. That said, I'm sure that may not end well in the long term either if that's the case. Just my speculation. Either that or the guy is full of it and it's not doing anything to the way the truck drives.
I did this mod to my truck a while ago. It works great.
And no, it's not for burnouts...it's for when I want or need full control of my truck because the stupid nannies won't let me do what I need to do, or will get me into more trouble...
When this mod is engaged, you will lose rear parking sensors, cruise control, factory navigation, and of course, ABS.
