I did this mod to my truck a while ago. It works great.
And no, it's not for burnouts...it's for when I want or need full control of my truck because the stupid nannies won't let me do what I need to do, or will get me into more trouble...
When this mod is engaged, you will lose rear parking sensors, cruise control, factory navigation, and of course, ABS.
Thank you for the confirmation. Its funny how some people interpret something new, like "your stupid because all your going to do is burn outs now" or "it won't change a thing while towing". , etc., etc. But anyway, what I really like about it is it is user choice when you want it at the flip of a switch.
I don't really care what people do to their trucks, their decision, but I find it hard to believe that doing this mod made towing in the mountains and long open roads any different.
While towing at maximum weight, perhaps more torque would be available at a constant rpm.

Which is the frustrating part as that’s what holding the factory button in that tells you it’s been turned off yet it truly isn’t. The nanny ****** need throat punched... there’s always one in an engineering meeting dictating what “safety’s” must be included.
And I can’t believe how some of you don’t appreciate a good burnout😁
Traction control will get you stuck super fast offroad. Even the manual says to turn it off when offroading.
This mod is the only way to actually turn off traction control for many trucks unfortunately. I did every combination possible with my T/C button on the dash, but T/C would always kick on if I was spinning.

I've marked the fuses and pulled them when needed. I've been close to getting stuck a few times because I needed the wheel speed....fool me once.

On my "08", "15", 250 Lariat while plowing and needing to turn around in a tight spot I have turned off traction control with the button and kicked off 4 wheel and the truck has spun around w/o shutting out cylinders or whatever it does, the motors smooth and cranks right up. the motor never cut out, I have no idea what else TC may or may not do. I have yet to try on my "20" 250 Lariat.
Just my experience here with my 250's. I wouldn't think snow would be different than other conditions. Maybe it reads vehicle speed also with wheel speed sensor and I'm not doing more than 3-5 mph.
Complex game manufactures have to play, protect themselves from idiots with bottom feeder mouth pieces, and the government (99% lawyers) mandating and controlling them, men and women who can think for themselves are becoming a thing of the past.
No guns, electric micro cars with speed governors, no rude people, no injuries, no one speaks against anything, government provides us equally with what we need, what a lovely world it will be then huh.............Stallone played in a movie like that with Wesley Snipes.
I could have used it this past weekend. Found a soft spot and the truck sunk in on the nose. Even with traction control and advance trac turned off trying to rock the truck was an act of futility due to the systems still running in the background and turning power off to the wheels just when you need it.
