So I did go pick it up this morning. Tomorrow will put on a dolly and store in the shop till I decide it's future. My son who is a mechanic, says he may want to rebuild it so may go that route.
Either way I am glad to have it!

Whatever you do with it protect the exhaust manifold like it's gold.
I had a guy offer me a free six some years back. The engine was in a barn and froze but it had a good exhaust manifold. It was on wooden frame with wheels so we rolled it to the walk through door which had a wooden threshold and I told the guy to leave it there until I backed my truck up to the door. As I was backing the truck up I saw the guy trying to push the engine over the threshold and dumping it over on it's side, the side with the manifold. I got out of my truck and found pieces of the exhaust manifold laying on the ground.
I was so ticked off we loaded it into my truck and I drove it to the scrap yard.
