Site Suggestion

The mobile view should have the last page tab on it so you do not have to move to the full view option to get it. This would save users from those endless mobile page scrolls on the long threads.

Just a thought!

Mike, maybe I am missing what you are trying to say, but I will attempt to help.

Below is a screenshot of my mobile device screen when viewing the FTE on the mobile site. If a viewer wishes to go to the last page/post, they can push the arrow I have indicated in red three times below.

As Sous said, the arrow will take you to the last post.

I typically use the button all the way on the right. It usually at least attempts to take me to my first unread post. Although the phone frequently loses its mind and scrolls back 2 or more pages on me for no apparent reason. Very frustrating.

You are very welcome sir! I learned something as well. I was not aware of the button RacinJasonWV showed us. I just thought that was a "hey there is a new post in this thread" icon.

Thank you for asking this question!

I taught you something??? Wow!
Glad I could help.

Seriously though, I only recently found the arrow you mentioned.

The site drives my phone crazy. Which in turn drives me crazy. Sometimes it does it all on its own but I have noticed if I try to scroll backward even just a pinch it will start going back pages and pages. Then won’t load the new ones. Sometimes to the point that I have to close it out and use the subscription link email again.

If I use the little arrow as you mentioned I always have to scroll backwards to find the last read post. Doesn’t work so well on my device.

I have also found that the comment box link I mentioned only works once. After I have clicked it then it sees me as being up to date (no unread posts) so it just takes me to the first post.

Getting old is fun (not), a while back i clicked on the "full site" icon as I wanted to give rep points to someone, as you most likely know this is not possible from the mobile version. I won't tell you how long it took me to change it back......

Come on Jason... You have taught me more than that, but this was a good one that I can put to use almost daily... I am glad you could help me and the other FTE'rs that stumble across this post as they wander aimlessly through the threads.

Now what Rob did is usually something that "we" do where we click something and spend a silly amount of time trying to figure it out...

Happy day fellas!
