Cut Off Wire ID ?

Since my dash frame is out I'm carefully checking my wire harnesses .

I forgot how useless the TSM is, does anyone know what a small light blue wire with a red tracer goes to ? mine is cut off from the main harness at the right side of the steering column and I don't see anyplace to send it.

Just checked 1973-77 turn signal switch wiring notes I copied off the forum in the past month. That blue with red tracer wire could be for the steering column gear selector light, particularly you mentioned it being small (~14 or 16 gauge). Not used with manual transmissions.

Yep, light blue with a red stripe is almost always going to be dashboard lighting.
