back up camera connection

hey guys I need some help. I have a 2011 regular cab XL, and I just installed a Kenwood DDX770 that has a backup camera connection. I am installing an aftermarket camera. I would like to use the wire from the stereo and connect it to the steering column wire for reverse, but can't seem to locate it. I read other places that it is a black wire with a pink stripe, but I can't find that color under the dash. any ideas?

The wire you need should be part of the factory stereo wiring, at least it is on my 2012. Did you get the harness adapters for your install ?

I had the crappy am/fm cd., no the integrated stereo. I got the wire harness for the Kenwood and did not see a wire for the camera.

Hi group. I have a similar problem. I was told a Black wire with a pink tracer on the back of the fuse panel but I don't see one. I do see a black with pink tracer on the factory radio harness. Is this the wire I need? Thanks in advance!
