Are the Y and CAC pipes worth it on a stock setup?
On a stock set up? No.
Judging by the product names alone, the AFE sounds a bit "iaffy." And the Sinister sounds, well, just like it sounds... sinister.
I wouldn't want anything iffy or sinister on my stock set up.
In all seriousness however, recognize that the stock Y pipe being connected to the compressor outlet horn offers a mechanical securement advantage that has to be compensated for with a metal strap bolted to the engine valley when these elements are segregated.
Your money is better spent on something like a Ford AIS.
I got kinda frustrated after spending too much time giving history on mods and then It timed me out on the post. So I just did a quick whaddya think...
WW2, AIH delete, 6637, Hydra with SDK tunes, RR plenum inserts, ummm... possibly preparing for KC stage 1 or just balanced assembly. No T4 in my future although I do like what I am reading about the lower spool on the 363.

I'm enjoying the 363/small turbine, but I'm also not sure if the money spent on my small turbo setup can be "justified" compared to a KC drop in.
Skip the new Y and such in my opinion. I mean shoot, my T4 kit re-used the cold side IC pipe.
If it were me, I would spend my coin on the KC turbine/Riffraff wheel combo (Wes444 describes his good performance with this setup) or call KC to see if a Stage 1 would be suited for your needs.
Two other options on the Y's that I've been looking at, but haven't pulled the trigger. A lot more affordable than the two you mentioned, but then again I don't know the quality...
