Does anyone know ford offer a drivers side battery tray for a dentside, or one from a bump would fit? My supercharger put the intake tube on the opposite side it was on and now the intake wants to live where the battery is.
Someone on here did a write up on using a right side on the left by separating the brackets from the tray and reversing the angles and rewelding it.
I just removed the vertical support on a new pass side one to use for my driver side battery, since my overflow tank was in the way to use it anyways. Just ran some bolts down through the bottom and pulled the inner fender liner to get nuts on them. Nice and tight.
I did find an OEM one in decent shape in a wrecking yard a while back and sold it to someone here. They're pretty rare, especially in usable condition.
X2 on just look at the one from the passenger side. You can cut the welds of the brackets and flip it around and re-weld. Easy and WAY cheaper than finding a OEM dvrs side one.
